Answers to your questions.
Do I need the temple’s Bhasma Aarti permission?
No. Permission is needed only to sit inside the temple, where seats are limited. The screening at the Kendra is open to everyone, free, with the courtesy of Shri Mahakaleshwar Mandir Prabandh Samiti.
Is it the same as being inside the temple?
It is the same aarti at the same moment, seen live from inside the sanctum on a large 3D screen, with the whole hall taking darshan together.
Can children and elders come?
Yes. The hall is on the first floor and devotees sit on the carpeted floor. Come a little early if someone needs a comfortable spot.
Does the Kendra also run VR shows?
Yes, 6 AM–10 PM: the Mahakal Bhasma Aarti and other darshans in 3D and 6D with VR headsets. These are ticketed and booked separately.
